This video is about cutting, taping, and rearranging the periodic table into the Left Step form, the Mendeleev's flower form, the cake form, the wide form, the standard form, and so on. A great holiday craft!! Electron valence is not present in this video

This is like when you have a brilliant idea you crunch the number formula everything, but the idea end up false or just land back on what was already done. At least now it makes sense
@floppy8568 Says:
Or use contracted periodic table (an actually rectangular table (the f-block (and possibly the g-block) goes to the bottom seperated))

oh hey dmitri mendelev, mendelevium is your new element

I am because of Terrance Howard

how do i read it though
@beka4080 Says:
That physically (or rather chemically) hurts me that you included La and Ac into lanthanides and actinides, excluding Lu and Lr
@SuperToughnut Says:
You need at least one other axis to display them properly and then you'll be able to make more discoveries.
@XYZ-c2z Says:
Ive always thought one should reimagined these cause science isn't absolute... Always scope for improvement... But instead we learn to memorise ...

Is it weird that I think kf similar things while staring at the periodic table in my textbook or while not
@CIAchanlol Says:
Oh why did you have to move helium twice used to be right next to a neon but then you had to move it and then you moved it back that move was unnecessary
@CIAchanlol Says:
I don’t know if this one is better or not because I don’t have groups and it would be harder to learn which elements are in which groups if it’s this
@lehimliberceste Says:

@robinhodson9890 Says:
You'll find the table of the nuclides (aka the Segrè chart), which includes all the ions of elements as separate entries, much saner - and it's already a grid. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Table_of_nuclides

i just took dr doe's chemistry quiz and really enjoyed it
@potatoheadpokemario1931 Says:
1:00 I think it would work better if instead of helium above beryllium you put hydrogen above Florine
@chessthejameswei Says:
You don't realize how hard this actually is until you try it yourself.
@Chiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Says:
Wow all that cutting was worthless
@ReverendMuncle Says:
This is wonderful. Thank you.

THANKS MENDELEEV
@Fedorchik1536 Says:
This should be illegal. Nice save in the end though
@fallendown8828 Says:
I liked the flower one but as you said it is way too 3 dimentional to have a good use
@gabeshaw3721 Says:
The periodic table is good the way it is. It makes sense from a chemistry standpoint, which is what actually matters since nobody else uses it. What you’re doing is like somebody else telling you what car to drive based on what car makes sense for them. Keep your input to yourself. If you wanna fuck up your own periodic table fine but try and change someone else’s

You made me leave school🤣😂 But seriously I quit
@alonsol8989 Says:
I was about to punch someone when you said let's move helium.. God dont ever do this to me again 😭
@Matushf Says:
After the first minute I wanted to start ranting about electronegativity, … but since he addressed that right afterwards I said okay, let’s see. He really had us in the first half.

That's what happens when physicists mess with chemistry
@Columbo761 Says:
Did the same exact thing in junior high school. Couldn't have said it better. At least get La and Ac IN the table.

I'm surprised my mind got blown as much as it did watching this video
@DanteYewToob Says:
I kinda want a nice 3D version of the flower table... I might make a nice desktop version on my 3D printer or something... that's super cool.
@crisscross2310 Says:
This doesn't make any sense whatsoever....... For the purpose of chemistry which is why the periodic table exists, this concept would fail to account for electronegativity and relative atomic size and mass.
@srajanverma9064 Says:
It feels so bad when he breaks the beautiful mendeleevs flower..
@Cosmic_Ray_ Says:
When I was taking high school chemistry, I thought that I could make the table better. I work through out the semester trying to make a better one, but the more I learn about the table in class and the more I thought about I realized time and time again that the table doesn't need to be change at all because it was already perfect... except for the tables in the text books because they were outdated.
@sinistra92 Says:
No mention of the Walter Russel method? Seems odd....
