I’m confused why you can’t factor the (x^2+25)?
@waffle2632 Says:
An easier way to solve this is to look at the top as x²=a so x⁴ becomes a² 21x² becomes 21a we got a²+21a-100 at the top which we can factor out as (a-4)(a+25) now put a=x² back we have (x²-4)(x²+25). At the bottom we can expand by foil method so (2x+3)² becomes 4x+12x+9 and we also have -49 so we can add light terms of 9-49 to get -40. So our bottom is 4x²+12x-40 now we can take out 4 so we have 4(x²+3x-10) which if we use quadratic formula we can get x-2 and x+5 from the x²+3x-10 so our bottom is 4(x-2)(x+5) Now we have (x²-4)(x²+25) OVER 4(x-2)(x+5) at the top we can still expand (x²-4) because it's just (x²-2²) so it's (x-2)(x+2) Now our equation looks like this (x-2)(x+2)(x²+25) OVER 4(x-2)(x+5) It's basic math from here and there you go just cancel the x-2 and plug in the value

L'hopital rule can be used as when u substitute the limit in the given expression its 0/0 so we can just differentiate the expression and substitute the limit back in to solve it faster
