I can divide up to a 3 digit divisor, and am practicing to go higher. My method is different than yours. My job is very boring, and I practice when I'm bored. First, I practiced 1/7, over and over again. I divide the leftmost digit by the number, and do it again with the remainder multiplied by 10. In 1/7, it's zero, with a remainder of 1. I promptly turn that 1 into a 10, making note of that 1 as part of my final result, and say it out loud, doing the rest in my head. *1* remainder 30. *4* remainder 20. *2* remainder 60. *8* remainder 40. *5* remainder 50. *7* remainder 10. As soon as the remainder is the same as it was previously, I note that it repeats from there, I don't have to do any more math. Eventually, every division problem either repeats or terminates, it's inevitable. So; 1.42857 142857 repeating. Your brain is a very intelligent thing that holds very few things in its short term memory. It's very similar to a CPU that holds a couple small values in it's registers to do math with. Alway minimize the amount of things you have to remember when doing math. If you can, attach certain feelings or emotions you can to numbers, this also plays into how your brain works, and this will let you remember large numbers.

I just round up 29 to 30 divided by two 15 and divide 1x2 and subtract that from 15 and it's 14.5 I do it in seconds in my head that way

How on earth do kids need to have t9nwriye this down, let alone have to break down the numbers? If you are 7 you should know all times tables up to 12×12. Thats just an average level. I cannot believe its.not just done on your head! How are these kids ever are going to have a half decent job is impossible. The future is completely screwed all because they are lazy

This is pure gold! But I'm very curious of how you do this technique for divisions like 34/76? Where the top number is smaller and the bottom number is bigger, I noticed you had no such examples : )
@jialinteh6817 Says:
Another method I use: 300/4 = 3/4*(100) = 0.75*(100) = 75
@priyankagaonkar02 Says:
Can you show how to divide big numbers like 59628/632

@kazskyxe Says:
@ 7:02 why did he subtract? He didn't use that in the previous questions. Can anyone answer?
@blacktemplar7087 Says:
I will never understand this
@tomreyes Says:
But like, if you are doing all that to divide 23/3 then you have to divide 21/3 to solve the first one it it doesn't make sense

Thanks Alot These videos are so hopeful for me in no calc section
