Idk if anyone else caught that at 12:58 he meant to say that Fe +3 is more stable than Fe +2 because Fe +3 has a half filled orbital on the 3d level after it gets rid of 4s2 and changes from 3d6 to 3d5 (draw out the electron configuration chart)

I'm not sure why the American periodic table is like this... it's so wrong... group 13 is meant to be group 3 and hydrogen is meant to be isolated by itself and instead of writing that weird configuration for aluminium just write it as 2,8,3 the last 3 electrons are the valency electrons, I'm not sure why to write the electronic configuration in the American why you must write this weird symbols like 1s to the power of 1 for e.g. .The British periodic table is much easier to understand and the transition metals aren't meant to be in a group because they could have different charges.

Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for showing How to Determine the Charge of Elements and Ions in AP/General Chemistry. Although , I took General Chemistry in the 1980's, Polyatomic Ions are worth memorizing in Chemistry. Exams and test scores will improve when students memorize Polyatomic ions. This is an error free video/lecture on YouTube TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.

Hopefully i pass this random class test and dont need to erite anything out. While everyone else memorises the ions hopefully i can more or less remember how to figure it out myself
