Why you are disconnecting the wire first why not the source first?

Thank you for explaining charge by induction principle to me. The video was helpful indeed.
@FeridaMohammed-rf4xd Says:
Thee first example that came up was charging by contact not conduction.They are two different things .Chargng by conduction uses a cell based on the charge to be conducted.

I got question about charging by conduction. When rod that has net negative charge, touch neutral sphere that has no net charge, sphere becomes negatively charged, but will rod be still negatively charged, or all excess negative charges goes to sphere so rod is neutral now ?

Too many questions. How is a positive charge induced on the rod? How does the sphere closest to rod affect/influence the sphere on the right? What is that rod and what are those sphere? This makes absolutely no sense
@FalcoGo975 Says:
What if the rod is positively charged Pls reply soon

i have a question! why do you disconnect the wire first and then remove the rod?

@sky-son Says:
2:16 You must separate the spheres before you move the rod away; otherwise, the charges will equalize in the two spheres. Once you separate the spheres, then you can move the rod away from the first sphere. You can actually increase the charge in the spheres if you use a ground. Check out the cartoon video charging by induction made about fourty-three years ago.
