Hello there! I am currently grade 12 ( STEM strand ) I saw some comments here questioning about the differences between compound and homogeneous. Based on my knowledge and understanding as well as research, when you say Compound they are substances that are formed by CHEMICAL COMBINATION of two or more elements. Ex: Table of Salt
While, Homogenous mixtures have a uniform composition and properties; also known as " solution " .
Ex: Apple and Water ( they're both pure substances that can be separated by physical methods like mixing them together to form new substances)
Apple + Water = Apple Juice
Disclaimer: This is my only observation and understanding. If I have some mistakes please correct me. Thank you and I hope I can help you with some of my knowledge.
