In this video, we look at the structure of prokaryotic cells. First we look at the DNA in prokaryotic cells and then prokaryotic ribosomes. We then explore the features of prokaryotic cells including the cell wall, the slime capsule, the plasmids, the flagellum and pili.
This video is aimed at the UK A Level Biology specifications. Students studying International A Level Biology will need to check their specification.

Hi @freescience lessons. Im wondering if Pili are only part of a certain spec? Because my teacher says that the slime capsule does the job of pili and we don't need to know about them? Are pili part of the slime capsule?
