We're not taught about how to care for things that "seem fine" to us, or feel "out of our reach," so a lot of us just live day to day, while problems like these continue to stare us in the face; granted, most of us are just doing all we think we can, or just don't know how to help. I've been trying to fight this scourge, and every time I turn around, the problem gets worse...including near my location, where, not too far away, a pristine night sky once was. For generations, people would look into the night sky, and be inspired by it. I don't want to imagine a future where that's no longer the case, but it seems to be happening, and it's like screaming at a brick wall.
