I thought Black holes could eventually evaporate.. wouldn't that mean they eventually convert 100% to energy?

I suppose if chemical reactions were more efficient, the world would be a porportionally more dangerous place.

Whatever it is that can release 100% of the energy is looking down at a quickly rotating black hole and telling it "mid".

I don't think chemical reaction releases any of the e=mc2 energy... - If you drop somehow drop one kg of mass in a well, the energy converted into impact-sound or impact-heat was stored in it's potential energy, which is not it's e=mc2 Similar chemical energy is different from e=mc2 - One kg of coal have the same e=mc2 as one kg of iron or water...

What are you going to do if you have leftover drawings?

<<@luudest

How come that so much energy is sucked out from the spilaring matter around the black hole? After all no matter is converted or a reaction takes place.
