All book links are in the description for those who just want the list. Seriously thought this video would be like 6 or 7 minutes, but realize I don't shut up....so there were quite a few books I didn't get to but I keep an updated list of book recommendations (including textbooks for self teaching) over on STEMerch so you can check that out here https://stemerch.com/collections/books . Also can get the floating globe you see behind me over there https://stemerch.com/collections/science-toys/products/led-magnetic-levitation-globe .

I read "Algorithms to Live By" and I'm not taking computer science or anything. I highly recommend reading it, as the topics cover plenty of normal life scenarios such as optimal scheduling, sorting, and predictions, and the topics are explained using good examples that are easy to follow

<<@Siegefya

Hell yes the millionaire fast lane is easily the best business book that hardly anybody talks about. I think it's because the title is kindof bad, but it's honestly the best one I ever read.

Hey! So I'm about to start my b.sc in computer science and engineering. I have a biology and chemistry background - didnt do physics after 10th grade- so are these books appropriate for me? Or are they too advanced? What do you recommend for a beginner?
